Also known as YFEX_ECO57, yfeX. Has both general peroxidase activity and dye-decolorizing activity. Can catalyze the oxidation of 2, 2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) (ABTS), and the phenolic compounds guaiacol and catechol. Also decolorizes the anthraquinone dye reactive blue 19 (RB19).
