DESCRIPTION

Also known as XGEA_ASPAC, xgeA. Catalyzes endohydrolysis of 1, 4-beta-D-glucosidic linkages in xyloglucan with retention of the beta-configuration of the glycosyl residues. Specific for xyloglucan and does not hydrolyze other cell wall components.
